Deemed a genius because of the Sharingan bloodline she carries from the Uchiha Clan, Reika has a special advantage when it comes to using Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, or Genjutsu. She has a bigger stamina and chakra capacity in her body than most, though she likes to waste much of her energy in offensive attacks and while Reika has a good chakra control, it isn't the best that it could be. To combat this, though, she has a rather good mind, so whatever actions she does carry out is done after much consideration-- unless she goes by the whim of her emotions than common sense, which seems to happen almost half of the time. As much as she tries to be well-rounded, she has a noticably better offense than defense, and could find herself in trouble if she happens to lose the higher ground. Considering this, Reika can handle ninja weapons quite well, excells in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, and knows a number of fire-elemental, high-level techniques, such as Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu, or the Fire Element skill, Grand Fireball. Once her Sharingan becomes activated and she is able to obtain the blood limit ability, Reika is sure to create a slew of her own Jutsus as well, with an increase in her stats consecutively.

Apperance: Outwardly and at first glance, nothing seems out of the ordinary with the way Reika looks, which frequently becomes an advantage for her when people, especially opponents, are caught off-guard by her hidden power. Straight, midnight blue hair flows from her head, contrasting her pale skin rather well. Most of her tresses stop an inch or two past her slender shoulders, framing her heart-shaped face, though she has several longer strands that hang down a good twelve inches or so from her head, grouped together by chrome, cylinder rolls. In a natural occurance, her bangs, which are split into two down the middle of her forehead and stop just above her chin, often cover dark blue-gray eyes, ones that are anything but a window to her soul. Whoever is lucky enough, or rather, unluckily, depending on which side one finds themselves on, get to see her eyes change to a bright red, signalling the use of her Sharingan. Both of Reika's ears are pierced, but she merely wears crystal studs as earrings.
Her petite figure allows her to be light on her feet, and though she isn't huge in the curves department, especially considering her age, she still has enough femininity to be alluring to the opposite sex. Reika wears a simple yet elegant in-its-own-way arrangement of clothing. A dark blue, hand-embroidered, genuine silk halter top covers her upper body, the symbol for the Uchiha-clan in the middle of the back of the shirt. A dark cherry red skort is worn as her bottom, and seashell-coloured leg warmers cover the skin just below the knees and down. Traditional navy blue ninja sandals are her choice of footwear. Both of her forearms are wrapped halfway with white bandage tape, and a black ribbon is tied to her upper left arm in a tight bow. Reika doesn't tell anyone what it's for, but most believe it is in rememberance of the rest of her clan. Her kunai holster is wrapped around her right thigh, along with some more white bandage tape, and a pouch is worn on the left side of her hip. Her dark blue and metal forehead protector is worn normally, around her forehead.
Personality: At first glance, Reika comes off as a cold person, which isn't too surprising considering everything that had gone on in her life. It's all a big misunderstanding, though, for Reika doesn't mean to be, or wish to be, so detatched. She keeps her distance from people, emotionally and physically, out of fear than anything else, hiding her past and her feelings. She obviously cares and isn't afraid to show it, more through actions than words, being protective and self-sacrificing. She keeps her negative thoughts quite, as she does for her positive side, blundering out teaseful phrases in her attempt to not be a total rock, though this is usually taken wrongly as well. While it takes a bit for her to open up, she does do it. Reika sees the world with startling clarity and accepts the good and bad in a person.
There's an air of mystery around her; she's different and not who she seems at first glance. But like most people who act different around strangers than they do around friends, anyone who can manage to get into Reika's good graces and become her friend will find she can be lively and outgoing like anyone else. She facades optimism, giving her friends hope in their darkest hours, but inside she is just as scared as they are, if not more so, having the experiences that a person shouldn't. On rare occasions, she does let it slip how frightened she really is, and looks for the reassurance she needs to continue being strong. Reika possesses a dark side, probably a little more prominent than others, but she doesn't like to dwell on it. She has a long temper to match a patience that's harder than diamond, but once that breaks, she has all of her pent-up rage to lash out with. Reika takes herself very seriously and hates to be mocked.
History: Born into one of the most famous and powerful clans of the Hidden Leaf Village, Reika is the daughter and second child of Ukyou and Namie, and the younger sister of Shisui, who was presumably the most skilled member of the clan. Though Shisui and Itachi were best friends due to their work, Reika did not know Sasuke as well as she would have liked to. While they did see each other and hang out time to time, especially when their parents and brothers were too busy for them, Reika acknowledged Sasuke as her cousin, like normal. Her uncle, Teyaki, always used tell her to be proud of her heritage and train hard to be just like her older brother and Itachi.
While the comments put a lot of pressure on Reika, especially since both brothers were so amazingly skilled, Reika seemed to see Itachi in a good light because he was close comrades with her brother, even more so since she didn't really know Itachi that well. She always believed he was a good person because he was with her brother, and she never held a grudge against her brother for putting so much pressure on her to follow his footsteps. Shisui, however, died one evening, drowned in a river in an apparent suicide. A few weeks after her brother's death, an incident that occurred when Reika was eight made the Uchiha clan the most tragic clan of the village to go along with its fame and power. Itachi, for some reason unknown to her, turned against the entire family and slaughtered them all mercilessly.
While Sasuke, kept alive by his brother, is the only member believed to be life alive, Reika is also a survivor of the Uchiha massacre, though an unknown one at that. Her father was able to fake her death by puncturing the key areas in her neck with some needles after Reika had received a crushing blow by Itachi. Amidst the chaos that was ensuing, she was mistakenly assumed dead, causing no one to notice that there was more than one surviver from the incident. Taken in by one of the ninjas sent to oversee the devastation, who believed she perhaps spared as well because of her connection to Shisui, they put her in the care of another family, changing her name from Uchiha to Komachi in order to not alert anyone of what she was. Along with the Komachi family, the ninja sent her to live in a small town in a country that did not carry any Hidden Shinobi Villages in hopes that Itachi would not come across her.
Reika, since then, lived a rather normal life with the Komachi's. While she displayed signs of amnesia, it was really her subconscious locking away the horrifying memory from her conscious self. Her foster parents had no intension of breaking the real news to her, and rightfully so, and thus Reika grew up blissfully unaware of her past. However, she did eventually learn of her true lineage, as expected. Ninjas from a nearby Shinobi village had come to their town to buy flowers from their flower shop. Almost coincidentally, but most likely out of fate, Reika was also in the store while they were there, just hanging about until her mother returned from shopping. The shopkeeper asked what the numerous flowers were for, and they replied that it was for a remembrance ceremony for a family that was wiped out a few years ago.
The comment awakened the memories that she had hidden away for so long, and Reika remembered every vivid detail of the horrible night, stuck carrying the pain and the questions she had. With questions always heavy in her mind, Reika figured out there was only one thing she could do. She was determined to become a ninja to have the power to find any other survivors and rebuild the clan. Whether revenge is on her or not seems unclear, but the thing above most Reika would like to know was why Itachi had done the deed in the first place, and so also strives to find him for that purpose, though she knows this may only result in her death as she isn't supposed to still be alive.
The Komachi family had agreed to allow Reika to take the path to becoming a ninja, as they had no right to stop such a reuqest, but in compliance she had to go to the Hidden Village of the Sky rather than return to her home village at Konoha and become a ninja there. They believed that if she did return, it would cause an uproar, especially with Sasuke living there, a living member of the clan that they did not inform Reika of, and that kind of attention would have surely made its way to Itachi, who would come to finish the deed. So Reika did so, seeing it as the only way for her to complete her goal, reverting her name back to Uchiha with a new set of clothing, and enrolled in the Academy.
