Hidden Village of Sky ---- A Naruto-Based Role-Play

Among the countries of the world, hidden villages and ninja exist as the armies for those countries. Along with the five great ninja powers of Leaf, Rock, Sand, Mist, and Cloud, other ninja villages in smaller countries also exist. For example, the Hidden Village of Sky [Soragakure] in the Air Country [Kuki no Kuni], straddled by the Fire Country, the Rice Field Country, and the Waterfall Country, is another hidden village of ninja. The village is fairly small and relatively new compared to the other ninja villages, founded by the current presiding Kuuchuukage only ten years ago. As the Country of Air is the place where the four major winds of the world (North, South, East, and West) join together, Soragakure is a village founded by people and shinobi with various backgrounds who joined together from all parts of the land. Some family clans and ninja have even come from other hidden villages for theier own varying, personal, reasons.

Though the village is still small in size and population, especially with regard to active ninja, it is growing steadily and peacefully. The Kuuchuukage, one of the greatest ninja in the world, has moved the village in a peaceful and prosperous direction. Above all, the ideals of Soragakure focus on teamwork and camaradarie, loyalty and trust, and protecting those friends and loved ones important to oneself. The village is like one united family, where almost everyone knows each other, due in part to its size but mostly the strong, good will possessed by the villagers and the ninja of the village, and the great leadership of the Kuuchuukage himself. The time of the year has come once again for the graduates of the Academy, the next generation of ninja, to receive their distinguishing forehead protectors and enter the world of the ninja under the symbol of the Hidden Village of Sky...!

However, heartache and troublesome times loom on the horizon for the Sky village. It is slowly being drawn into the black hole of an immense danger that has begun to plague such hidden shinobi villages like that of Iwa and Konoha. With the Chuunin exam long since haulted, and with the funeral of Konoha's Kage, peace slowly settles once again amongst the masses, but the Kuuchuukage fears it will be short-lived...and that Sky will be sucked into the second coming of destruction, especially with word of the Akatsuki Organization finally making a move and the appearance of one of the three Sannin, Orochimaru. Will such a horrible fate befall the small yet growing village, and how will it affect the young and fresh and the mild and experienced ninjas of the Hidden Village of Sky? Only they...and time...will decide.
